As always a good show. But I am worried about Oliver. It sounds like he feels all of his Oliver's Corner work has been for nought. I should have been leaving comments since I began listening from the start. I was about to give up on opera when I found your show. Because of Oliver's teaching I found a way "in". So he helped my find this beautiful music. I loved the piece you played. Your baroque shows were wonderful. Keep up the great work. I am sure there are others like me. Thank you all very much. P.S. I've never been the type to leave comments but I'm trying to now. Covid makes me lonely.

I love Kaufmann, but covering Mariah was a strange choice. I did like the arrangement but honestly—hearing that version reminded me why most internationally successful pop/jazz/whatever does not hail from Germany. He had enough to offer with the other selections. Why try to go pop?

Upon further reflection—anyone can go pop, regardless of their heritage—but why opera singers do it without the skills to do so is beyond me...($$$?). I love pop and rock. More than opera. I cannot sing it to save my life and would need to devote time to figure out how to do so.
