love your podcast.
one thing you talked about. the person on opera box now who mispronounced 'rance' in fanciulla had explained earlier in their show that puccini got the pronunciation wrong and wrote the music accordingly with two syllables in his name. when he eventually found out how it was said, he had to rewrite all the music where hs name appeared.

the last thing i want to do is to discourage young people feom engaging with opera ..... but other than the rance pronunciation thing, those kids on opera after dark didn't have much to say.
