i will admit that opera busters is too hard for me. but i do like to music that introduces that segment so i vote to keep it just for that reason.

I'm pretty pumped to hear Jenny in Agrippina. Opera Omaha's productions can be pretty hit or miss, but I've been hearing only good things about this particular production. Hopefully, it's as good as the buzz (Because Nebraska news outlets have been losing their MINDS talking about this thing....)

YES, I also enjoy the Opera Busters theme.
I am really enjoying Oliver's Corner.Do y'all have a recommendation for a good production on DVD of A Midsummer Night's Dream? Also, thank you Doug for the history of the countertenor voice, really interesting!

I'm surprised you all didn't mention that Ryan MacPherson, soon to be singing at the New York City Opera benefit concert, is about to open in "Brokeback Mountain" in Madrid. He's singing the role of Jack's father.

I also want to thank you all for the Britten history (and countertenor history). I didn't know that Deller's voice was weak and small and that Britten scored minuscule accompaniment for Oberon because of that.

Michael was on fire in this episode!
