OperaNow! #110: Too Many Possible Titles

Michael goes to the opera so you don't have to (my quick take on The Golden Ticket)…Is anybody listening to new American Opera (maybe?)…Apparently Domingo is made of metal…Carmen 3-D (now with more Carmen)…Cincinnati Opera celebration wrap-up (Sherrill Milnes makes drunken toast and weeps as he reminisces)…Opera Orchestra of New York will be back!…strikes continue at The Scala.

Oliver's Corner takes a Handel hiatus and looks at Susannah by Carlisle Floyd with selctions by Cheryl Studer and Phyllis Curtin.

Plus Guess Who Died? and the answer to OPERABUSTERS!

This week features Michael, The OC, Emily Pulley, Keith Phares and our first official Listener Panelist, Glorivy Arroyo

A) Show notes without a show or B) a show without show notes. I 'd go with option B.

I'm probably being very stupid (it wouldn't be the first time), but how do you download the Mp3 this on a Mac, without the right-click? Or is there a right-click on my Mac I don't know about....

PS Looking forward to the article about Susannah - I'm singing in it in Bilbao in the Autumn/Fall...

I love a mozel!

I'm starting to worry that what I thought was a great episode has either not been heard yet, or American Opera is dead! Where, pray tell, are the comments!?
I call, I call, I call: Gabriel! Gabriel! Gabriel!

I've had issues with my laptop so I haven't heard the last few podcasts, but, based on these notes, could I have been at the same opera in St. Louis as Steamy Rice? And, if so, how did I miss him?

Looking forward to catching up with you all once I've fixed my problems.
