Rant 'n Rave > 78s are cool too

Hey guys! Great podcast - especially enjoy Oliver's Corner. It's really good to hear an accomplished singer explain the techinical nuts and bolts of what goes into making great singing happen. Just a thought - recording didn't just start in 1950. Some of us aren't afraid of pre-hi fi records! McCormack and Caruso surely knew something about singing through the passaggio - it would be fun to hear examples of earlier singers too when you are demonstrating your points on technique and style. Cheers!
